The project consists of demolition and removal of the existing wear surface and planters. Removal of the old waterproofing system, demolition, and repair of the existing structural slab, replacement of the existing drains, plumbing and associated electrical system.  Installation of a new waterproofing membrane, installation of a new concrete topping and new concrete planters, associated electrical works, new paving stone and associated landscaping works.  All work is was completed above existing parking structure space.  Working with the public and client to accommodate the pedestrian and vehicle traffic through work zones during high profile events at Rodgers place was paramount to the success of the project.  The success of the project has garnered high level BOMA-Best awards for the building operators and owners, and received attention in the architectural community for the beauty of the finished plaza deck.
